What is floor deck ?

The floor deck is the floor concrete supporting plate which is called pressed steel plate, also called floor support plate and steel support plate. It has three types: open floor, neck floor, neck floor, closed floor.

In short, floor profiles for roof decks are generally used as a structural component. The steel deck floor is a cold-formed steel sheet. Metal decking is used in roof and floor systems to support the concrete or insulating membrane of a roof. Its design and construction magnify the properties of steel. It creates a high strength-to-weight ratio that reduces material, handling, and assembly costs.
